Christmas Knitting

November 13th, 2007 by mary

I think I am a bit behind this year again!  Still got two scarves , a doll’s blanket and a throw to go not to mention a few sewing projects.  I am a great believer in the saying ‘ that if it wasn’t for the last minute nothing would get done.’

I have been knitting fingureless gloves from the RYC Accessories Book.  It is a good way of trying out some yarns.  Sublime Merino DK has great stitch definition and is lovely knit.  Rowan Tapestry is very pretty and has made a really snuggly pair of gloves.  Will try Rowan’s Felted Tweed next.

    Hi Mary

have you finished the tapestry gloves you were just starting at Knit and Natter already?? Wow!! I loved the colourway you used - which one was it? Were you able to get both gloves from one skein/ball?

See you at Knit and Natter! (Or most likely I will be in the shop again soon as I really would love to knit something in that gorgeous tapestry yarn!). X
